South Carolina reportedly hiring new defensive line coach from Tulane (South Carolina)

After losing their defensive line coach to LSU, as we initially reported last week, South Carolina has reportedly found a replacement.

According to multiple reports this morning, Shane Beamer is expected to hire Tulane's Travian Robertson as the Gamecocks new defensive line coach.

Chris Clark of GamecockCentral was the first to report the news.

Robertson is a former South Carolina defensive lineman, who went on to play in the NFL for the Falcons, Seahawks and Redskins.

He led a defensive line unit that anchored the second ranked scoring defense in the AAC last year, helping Willie Fritz's squad to an impressive 10-win turnaround in year two as they went 12-2, and beat USC in the Cotton Bowl.
