Sources tell FootballScoop that Davis, who spent 2022 as Florida A&M's special teams coordinator, is headed to Manhattan, Kansas, to join the Wildcats' staff.
At K-State, Davis is set to serve in analyst role for Chris Klieman, who led the Wildcats to a break-through, 10-win campaign last season.
Davis, with coaching stints at the University of Washington and Louisiana Tech, among others, has worked extensively throughout his career with both special teams and coaching wide receivers.
A Virginia native, Davis played collegiately at Campbell.
K-State opens its season with Southeast Missouri State Sept. 2 before it plays a pair of non-conference FBS foes in Troy, Missouri and Central Florida kicks off Big 12 play. The Wildcats have their first Big 12 road game at Oklahoma State Sept. 23.
