Trent Bray continues to stack an inaugural Oregon State staff filled with former players and coaches with direct ties to the state.
Bray's impending move for his next running backs coach is more of the same. Sources tell FootballScoop that Bray is hiring Thomas Ford away from the University of Idaho.
Most recently the running backs coach and special teams coordinator for the Vandals, Ford will handle the running backs for the Beavers, who are set to face Notre Dame later this month in the Sun Bowl.
Ford played his college ball in Oregon at tiny Linfield College.
Additionally, Ford has been a head coach including at the prep level in Tacoma, Washington. The native of Washington has excelled on the recruiting trail, in part, sources said, because of the lasting relationships he forged from his time in the prep ranks.
