Bob Chesney is poised for another key hire to his initial James Madison staff.
Multiple sources tell FootballScoop that Chesney is hiring Matt Moran away from Boston College.
Per sources, Moran is expected to serve as James Madison's co-special teams coordinator and work directly with the Dukes's specialists.
Most recently, Moran has served as a special teams analyst for Boston College, which capped its season Thursday with a win against SMU in the Fenway Bowl.
Additionally, Moran has deep experience at the Power 5 level; he worked seven seasons under David Shaw at Stanford, where Moran helped tutor the Cardinal special teams units and specialists.
In the past, Moran has worked with both Jake Bailey and Josh Karty -- specialists who eventually earned either NFL or college All-America honors.
Moran's additional stops include Rutgers and San Diego.
