Source: Jacksonville State's latest addition to staff comes with SEC experience (Charles Kelly)

Charles Kelly and Jacksonville State have put together an impressive staff in a short period of time, and their latest hire is coming from SEC country and brings a rather interesting background.

Source tells FootballScoop that Alabama director of sports science Will Wright has agreed to become the head strength coach at Jax State under Kelly.

Wright will be one of the youngest head strength coaches in college football.

The owner of a Ph.D. in human performance, Wright was Alabama's director of sports science for football, and prior to that was an assistant strength coach for football and volleyball. Wright also owns three years of experience as the director of sports performance for Alabama Adapted Athletics.

He has previous experience working at LSU and Valdosta State (D-II - GA) in a variety of roles as well as an assistant football and soccer coach at Tallassee HS (AL) where he was the supervisor of strength and conditioning as well.

At Jacksonville State, he joins an experienced staff that has come together the past week or so that includes Clint and Rick Trickett, Lawrence Dawsey, and Taylor Housewright, among other notable names.
