University of Central Missouri (D-II) play caller Justin Bane led one of the most prolific offenses in all of college football the past two seasons.
In just his second season, Bane has developed a scheme and players that keep defensive coordinators up at night.
Last year, in his first season at Central Missouri, his team led all of NCAA Division II in total offense (598.3 yards per game), scoring offense (49.4 points per game), passing offense (417.9 yards per game) and first downs (398).
That success led to UCM quarterback Zach Zebrowski taking home the Harlon Hill Trophy, given to the most outstanding player at the Division II level as well as consensus First-Team All American honors.
This season, that success carried over, as Zebrowski not only led all of Division II in passing yardage, but did so by a wide margin - throwing for over 4,700 yards while the next closest quarterback threw for about 3,500.
The Mules also averaged about 45 points per game this season, good for third nationally.
After two remarkable seasons, sources share with FootballScoop that Bane has decided to resign.
Per source, Bane is currently weighing opportunities for where he will spend next season.
The 2023 selection as FootballScoop Coordinator of the Year arrived at UCM after owning and operating training facilities in Texas where he personally helped mentor and train numerous professional athletes.
