Over the past several years, the bar continually gets raised when it comes to #ScholarshipAlert moments.
During a recent team meeting, Neal Brown was able to award a scholarship to walk-on Caden Biser with an assist from Biser's father, Sean.
Sean has been the head coach at Morgantown HS (WV) since 2020, and is a former Mountaineer himself who played and earned a scholarship under the legendary Don Nehlen.
To surprise Caden, Neal Brown and his staff had him come out to unveil their uniform combination for their upcoming game against Penn State, with a dark visor on the helmet to help conceal his identity.
After taking off the helmet to a brief introduction from coach Brown, the rest of the Biser family entered the room, and it was revealed that the redshirt sophomore linebacker had earned a full-ride scholarship.
