Pittman, Hogs move quickly to fill offensive spot (South Carolina)

On Sunday, we shared the news that Justin Stepp was headed home to South Carolina.

Later that evening, Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman, who just capped his first season atop the Razorbacks program, quickly moved to fill the offensive vacancy.

Sources told FootballScoop that Pittman had tabbed Kenny Guiton, the former Ohio State standout who played briefly in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills, to fill the void left by Stepp's departure to Shane Beamer's inaugural South Carolina staff.

Guiton, a native of Houston, is expected to coach wide receivers for the Razorbacks, just as Stepp had done.

Guiton spent the past season coaching wideouts on the Colorado State staff for Rams first-year coach Steve Addazio. Guiton also previously worked under Tom Herman at Texas and also under Skip Holtz at Louisiana Tech.

A former Ohio State quarterback, who threw for 14 touchdowns against just two interceptions during 2013 season under Urban Meyer, Guiton has been almost exclusively a specialist for coaching wideouts at the collegiate level.
