As we sit here on a Friday evening waiting on the news of possible disciplinary action by the Big Ten directed at Jim Harbaugh or the Michigan program, a trusted former colleague of Harbaugh is breaking his silence.
Charlotte head coach Biff Poggi, who spent two different stints on the Michigan staff under Jim Harbaugh, took to the platform formerly known as Twitter to share his feelings.
"I have been quiet on the Michigan situation BUT NO longer," he opens by sharing.
"I was closer to Jim Harbaugh over the last three years than anyone except his wife and kids. If Jim knew I would have known. I didn't and neither did he. I stake my reputation on it."
Poggi wrapped up the tweet with "Stop whining and get a better team."
Poggi shared the sidelines with Harbaugh, and the man at the center of the investigation - Connor Stalions from 2021-22 as Michigan's associate head coach, and his first stint was in 2016 where he served as an analyst.
