Eli Drinkwitz and Missouri reportedly add former Big Ten and Big 12 offensive coordinator to staff

After a breakout 11-2 campaign where the offense scored among the top 30 nationally at just under 33 points per game, Eli Drinkwitz and Missouri are set to make an impressive addition to the staff.

Sean Gleeson, who has served as offensive coordinator at Rutgers, Oklahoma State and Princeton, is reportedly joining the support staff in Columbia as an analyst, Pete Thamel shares.

He led high-flying offenses at Princeton for two seasons, where he was elevated after a succesful stint coaching the running backs, and after two seasons of creativity he was brought to Stillwater as Mike Gundy's new offensive coordinator.

He spent just one season at Oklahoma State, where he helped the Cowboys average 32.5 points per game (35th nationally) before Greg Schiano brought him back to the east coast to serve as the offensive coordinator at Rutgers.

His offenses never found the type of success many expected in Piscataway, ranking 120th or lower nationally in scoring his final two seasons before being let go in October of 2022.

Gleeson spent last season as an analyst on the staff at Northwestern.
