New Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy reportedly has landed a key piece of his staff.
According to multiple reports, Bobby Engram will be the new receivers coach for the Commanders.
Engram spent last season as the offensive coordinator at Wisconsin, and prior to that spent a number of years in the NFL.
His time with the Badgers got off to a rocky start, with the program's decision to part ways with Paul Chryst after their fifth game of the season and a 2-3 start to the year.
Before joining Chryst's staff in Madison, Engram was on the Baltimore Ravens offensive staff for eight seasons.
He started off working with the wide receivers from 2014-18 before moving to tight ends his last few seasons with the organization.
It had been widely reported the past week or so that the Commanders were targeting Chiefs running backs coach Greg Lewis for the spot on Bieniemy's offensive staff, but Lewis was announced as the new receivers coach for the Ravens last night.
