With Brennan Carroll reuniting with his father, Pete, for the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders, Jedd Fisch is moving swiftly in finding his Washington program's next offensive coordinator.
In fact, he's already making the move.
Fisch is elevating Jimmie Dougherty into the role of Washington offensive coordinator.
Dougherty spent the 2024 season as Washington's passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach in his return to the Huskies program; he previously had been on staff for a quartet of seasons from 2009-12.
As Fisch & Co. helped revive Arizona football in their three seasons prior to taking over in Washington a year ago, Dougherty also was Arizona's passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Dougherty's had additional notable stops at the Power Conference level with both Michigan and UCLA.
Fisch announced his decision to elevate Dougherty Monday afternoon as he met with media.
