Starting in the winter of 2018, Minnesota football will have a new performance center and indoor facility on campus which will become the new everyday home of Gopher football.
The new buildings will house the indoor practice field, as well as a strength and conditioning space, sports medicine area, a new team room and locker room, fully equipped support offices and meeting rooms, a players lounge, and a new recruiting room.
Judging from the renderings and flythrough video, the new facility will also boast TV screens everywhere you look, and some really nice graphics. Renderings also show a virtual record ticker in the weight room, which is a nice modern touch.
