Nick Rolovich and Washington State made a splash back in February when they hired every coach's favorite viral TikTok star Marco Regalado as a recruiting assistant.
While his official title lies in recruiting, like many others in the football world, I was anxiously anticipating how one of college football's most creative minds (head coach Nick Rolovich) would end up maximizing Regalado's unique skill set.
Now we've got a first look at some of the creative ideas floating around the facility in Pullman.
This video, where Regalado highlights the offense line in a unique nature-like documentary type tone is just scratching the surface of what we can look forward to with Regalado involved.
A few years ago, I got the opportunity to spend part of the day with coach Rolo as he took some time to personally show my wife and I around campus at Hawaii. It was a one-of-a-kind trip and while we visited while he led a tour of a golf cart around campus and enjoyed lunch from a food stand on campus, it was even more apparent that Rolo sees things through a unique lense.
That unique perspective combined with the addition of Regalado was going to naturally lead to some creativity in recruiting and social media. This video is evidence of that in action.
