Liberty opened up their new 65,455 square foot facility in the north end zone of Williams Stadium back in April, while player's haven't been able to get in to see all of it in person yet they did take part in a Zoom reveal back during that April opening.
The new facility will impress current players as they report back to campus, as well as recruits. Coming off an 8-5 season in their first full-season as an FBS program, Hugh Freeze and his staff led the Flames to an 8-5 record and a win over Georgia Southern in the Cure Bowl.
The top floor of the renovated facility is home to offensive and defensive meetings rooms, a 147-seat team meeting room, and 17 offices and 10 position meeting rooms. The middle floor has a new locker room and equipment room while the floor level has a 13,000 square foot player's lounge, nutrition center, and recruiting area to be used during home games.
The lower level is also home to a new 16,000 square foot weight room.
Total price tag for the facility was about $25 million.
