While much of the FCS level has five or so games under their belts, Montana will open up their spring season with their first game on Saturday as they're set to host Central Washington.
This weekend's match up will be the first of two games the Grizzlies have on the books, as they have a tilt with Portland State on the books for next weekend.
With well over a year without a down of meaningful football played, Bobby Hauck's squad is finally coming out of hibernation this weekend.
With the Grizzly bear as their mascot, that makes for a unique creative opportunity.
The video opens up like its a nature documentary, and then you see Montana players fully padded up emerge from the snowy scene, snow crunching underneath their cleats as they move.
"It's been a long, cold, winter. The Grizzly awakens from hibernation. It has been months since it has eaten. He's hungry...and ready for the season ahead."
"It's time to hunt."
Their season may be just two games long, but the Montana creative department really did a nice job with this one.
