Bill O'Brien's departure from Ohio State to become the head coach at Boston College made a whole lot of sense on a number of levels to the vast majority of college football fans.
While Chip Kelly had interviewed for some NFL offensive coordinator jobs, few predicted what came after O'Brien's move, as Kelly left UCLA to for a coordinator role within the same conference.
UCLA moved quickly to find someone who would bring a unique connection and pride in the Bruins brand to lead the program into the Big Ten and landed on former running back DeShaun Foster.
Just weeks earlier, Foster had left to become the running backs coach for the Raiders, but returned to Westwood as the new head coach of the Bruins.
