Since being named the head coach at Temple, Geoff Collins has done some pretty innovative and fun things as a first-time head coach.
Most would say that it probably started with his appointment of college football's first S.W.A.G. Coordinator, and more recently, during St. Patrick's Day weekend, he had Leprechauns participating in practice.
During their Cherry and White spring game yesterday, Collins and Temple rolled out some special uniforms where instead of the last names of players on the back of the jerseys, the Twitter handle of players were proudly displayed.
This is a first, and there's not better place to do it than the spring game.
Wouid love to see a follow up on what kind of impact it had on their increase in followers the past 48 hours or so
