A disappointing 5-7 season in which the offense failed to score more than 21 points in six of 12 games has Mickey Joseph making change atop the Grambling offense.
Multiple sources tell FootballScoop that Joseph has parted with offensive coordinator Eric Dooley, the former Southern University head coach who's been a staple in both the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) and HBCU football.
Grambling jumped out to an 3-1 start in the 2024 season, punctuated by a dominant win against rival Jackson State, but then fizzled the remainder of the season.
The Tigers limped to a fifth-place finish in the SWAC Western Division standings; they dropped their final two games to Alabama A&M and Southern University in the long-running Bayou Classic.
