Mike Vrabel reportedly heading back to Ohio for new job in football

One of the surprises of the NFL cycle was the fact that former Titans head coach Mike Vrabel, who was 54-45 in Nashville, was left on the outside looking in as all the head coaching jobs filled up.

According to multiple reports today, Vrabel is has landed a new role with an NFL team that will bring him back to Ohio.

Adam Schefter was among the first to share that the Cleveland Browns are bringing Vrabel on board as a coaching and personnel consultant.

The move to Ohio brings him back to the state he starred as a linebacker for the Buckeyes before starting his coaching career at Ohio State under Urban Meyer coaching the linebackers.

The job keeps him active in the NFL, where he will surely be a sought after name once again next head coaching cycle.
