Kliff Kingsbury is reportedly hitting pause on head coaching interviews (Kliff Kingsbury)

Multiple outlets tonight are sharing that while the Bears and Saints have expressed interest and submitted interview requests for Kliff Kingsbury, those conversations will have to wait.

Kingsbury has decided to hold off on doing head coaching interviews until after their season, multiple reports share.

Washington is coming off the franchise's first playoff win in nearly two decades last week, and Kingsbury has decided to be fully present in their playoff preparation instead of juggling head coaching interviews.

Those interviews could have taken place this week, had Kingsbury been open to that, and many expect the Jaguars to join the Kingsbury sweepstakes as well.

The former Cardinals head coach, who went 28-37 overall from 2019-2022, is still being paid by Arizona who is contractually obligated to continue paying him into 2026.

On Saturday, Kingsbury - who has revitalized his career calling the offense under Dan Quinn with dynamic rookie phenom Jayden Daniels pulling the trigger of the offense - will take on arguably the hottest team in the NFL in the Detroit Lions, who are in the midst of the best season in franchise history.

The Commanders and Lions matchup has already set a record for the most expensive ticket in NFL history for games not coined The Super Bowl. The average price for a ticket at Ford Field is just over $1,000, with the cheapest ticket just under $400.

Kickoff for the NFL Divisional Round game is set for 8pm EST and you can catch the game on ABC.
