This morning, a video of David Beaty recruiting surfaced, and while that normally wouldn't command a story, it's what he was doing while on the phone that really caught my attention.
While talking to a recruit, Beaty took video of himself rolling around on a hoverboard. I'm not sure many other head coaches in major college football could pull that off. Among those that maybe could; Kliff Kingsbury, Mark Hudspeth, Jim Harbaugh, PJ Fleck, Scottie Montgomery.
At Kansas it doesn't hurt to throw out a unique recruiting pitch every once in a while to stand out, and coach Beaty nails that approach with this.
