Maryland: A longtime NFL assistant is set to take over the defense for Maryland.
New Orleans Saints: Miami (OH) defensive pass game coordinator / safeties coach Robert Blanton is expected to join Kellen Moore's staff, CBS Sports shares.
Roosevelt (D-II - IL): Roosevelt University is looking to fill open graduate assistant football coaching positions. Compensation includes full graduate school tuition and a $5,000 stipend. No housing or meals are included. Applicants must have a minimum 2.8 cumulative undergraduate GPA with subsequent admission into the Roosevelt University Graduate School . Florida A&M (FCS): Sources tell FootballScoop Kevin Weston has accepted the special teams coordinator / nickels coach job at FAMU. He spent last season coaching the linebackers at Norfolk State (FCS - VA) and has previously worked at Southeastern Louisiana (FCS).
Florida: Per source, Kentucky graduate assistant Dae'one Wilkins is joining the Gators staff in a quality control role.
Sierra (JC - CA): Sierra College is looking to hire a defensive backs coach. Duties include: coaching their position group (must be able to run your own meeting room), film breakdown, gameplan assistance to the DC, and recruiting. Position includes a $3,500 stipend. Housing opportunity may be available for the right candidate. Sierra College is located 20 minutes north of Sacramento in Northern California. Great opportunity for a coach trying to break into the college ranks, multiple previous assistants now coaching at the four year level. Applicant must have either a Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree with 2 years of experience to qualify for stipends. Arizona State: The Sun Devils are bolstering their staff with the addition of UTSA director of player personnel parker Cundiff in a front office capacity, per CBS Sports.
Stephen F. Austin (FCS): Westin Stringer, a former player and student assistant at University of Mary (NAIA - ND), is the new assistant tight ends coach for the program.
Auburn: Hugh Freeze has been diagnosed with an early and curable form of prostate cancer, Auburn has announced.
Illinois College (D-III - IL): Illinois College is seeking applications to fill two Restricted Earnings Assistant Football Coaches. This coach will serve as an Offensive Assistant with preference given to candidates with (TE / WR) experience. Tennessee Tech (FCS - TN): Tennessee Tech University has an opening for a Director of On-Campus recruiting. This position includes a $1,500 monthly stipend and occasional meals. This role includes planning and executing all recruiting events, data management, administrative support, facilitating campus tours, and recruit communication. The ideal candidate should have experience in recruiting at the college level, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide leadership.
