Santa Barbara City College (JC - CA):Puget Sound offensive line coach Dan Lever is the new offensive line coach/run game coordinator for Santa Barbara City College.

Coastal Carolina (FCS - SC): Bill Durkin has been hired as running backs coach. He spent the past four years as Bowling Green's offensive line coach. 

Samford (FCS - AL): Alabama offensive analyst Ronnie Letson has been hired as wide receivers coach at Samford. Letson was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Jacksonville State from 2004-12. 

Florida: New offensive coordinator Kurt Roper has signed a three-year contract worth up to $1.97 million. Roper will earn an average of $590,000 per season, plus a $100,000 signing bonus and a $100,000 retention bonus if he remains in his post through Jan. 31, 2016. Previous Gators offensive coordinator Brent Pease made $590,000 last season. Additionally, special teams coordinator/outside linebackers coach Coleman Hutzler will make $230,000 in 2014 on a one-year contract and offensive line coach Mike Summers will earn $190,000 on a two-year contract. 

Puget Sound (D-III - WA): Defensive coordinator Thomas Ford has accepted the head coaching job at Stadium High School in Tacoma, Wash.

Millsaps College (D-III - MS): Millsaps College, located in Jackson, Mississippi, is looking for two games in 2014. Preferable opponent would be a Division III or NAIA opponent. Auburn: Former Homewood HS (AL) head coach Doug Goodwin is joining Gus Malzahn's staff as the director of high school relations. Goodwin has won 234 games as a high school head coach in the state of Alabama.

Youngstown State: Kenny Carter has joined the staff as wide receivers coach / pass game coordinator and co-special teams coordinator. Carter has 15 years of BCS level experience at places like LSU, Pitt, Penn State, Vandy, and was most recently at Louisville as the running backs coach under Charlie Strong. Dan Gerberry has also been named tight ends coach. 

College of the Desert (JC - CA): Running backs coach/co-special teams coordinator Jeremy Mercer has accepted the head coaching job at Pueblo Central (Colo.) High School. 

Anna Maria (D-III - MA): Anna Maria College has an immediate opening for a defensive assistant coach. This position will be responsible for coaching his own position group, recruiting, and all other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. Position includes on campus housing, stipend, and meals. Highland CC (KS): Per source, Liberty HS (MO) defensive line coach Payton Kirk has accepted a position on staff at Highland Community College.

Georgetown: Sources tell us that Cornell running backs / tight ends coach Mike Neuberger will return to Georgetown as offensive coordinator. Neuberger coached the Hoyas receivers in 2012.

Monmouth (FCS - NJ): Yale offensive coordinator Kevin Morris has accepted a position on the Monmouth staff according to the Hartford Courant. 

Jacksonville State (FCS - AL): New head coach John Grass has announced his coaching staff: assistant head coach/running backs coach Jimmy Ogle, quarterbacks coach Larry Smith, wide receivers coach/co-special teams coordinator Nick Williams, offensive line coach Trey Smith, tight ends coach/recruiting coordinator J.R. Sandlin, co-defensive coordinator/inside linebackers coach David Blackwell, co-defensive coordinator/safeties coach Brandon Hall, outside linebackers coach Nick Gentry and cornerbacks coach/special teams coordinator Aashon Larkins. 

Kentucky Christian (NAIA): Per source, former Flat Rock HS (MI) defensive coordinator Todd Miller has accepted the defensive ends job.

Augustana (D-II - SD): Augustana College is seeking applicants for an assistant football coach working with the secondary / special teams. The position is a full-time appointment with a limited teaching assignment in the department. Master’s degree and collegiate coaching experience preferred. Compensation will be based on experience. Monterey Peninsula (CC - CA): Monterey Peninsula College has a defensive coaching position open. Position area is flexible. College degree (Masters is a plus), playing and coaching experience required. Duties include recruiting, strength and conditioning program, coaching on the field, game planning, academic advising, and video operations. Duties also include being an adjunct instructor in the Physical Education Department. Stipend is approximately $10,000 annually. Position open immediately; teaching will commence June 30, 2014.
