West Virginia: Tony Gibson is the new defensive coordinator. Per sources, several strong defensive line candidates have interviewed for that position.
Grand Valley State (D-II - MI): St. Cloud State (Minn.) defensive coordinator Jim Louis is leaving to become the co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Grand Valley State according to Andy Rennecke of the St. Cloud Times.
Chicago Bears: The Bears have promoted Pat Meyer to offensive line coach. Meyer was the assistant offensive line coach last season, while offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer also handled offensive line duties.
Sacramento State (FCS): Sacramento State has hired Solomona Tapasa as defensive line coach according to the State Hornet. The hiring completes the coaching staff.
Wagner (FCS - NY): Per source, Milford Academy (NY) offensive coordinator Stefon Wheeler will join the staff as an assistant.
Purdue: Word is getting out now that Arkansas corners coach Taver Johnson will join the Purdue staff as defensive backs. Has been in the works for a while. Scout and 247 are reporting the move as well.
Arkansas Pine Bluff (FCS): Per source, Missouri Southern State (D-II) defensive backs coach Byron Anderson will join the UAPB staff as linebackers coach.
Central Connecticut State: Former co-defensive coordinator Tommy Buzzo has accepted the head coaching position at Brooke Point HS (VA).
Texas: Mack Brown will receive a $2.75 million buyout in four installments and a $500,000 salary as a special assistant to the president.
Alabama: As expected, Alabama has now officially announced that Kevin Steele will now coach the linebackers and Kirby Smart will move to back to coaching the secondary.
Syracuse: Per source, Widener (D-III - PA) head coach Bobby Acosta will be the new tight ends coach at Syracuse. This makes two D-III head coaches set to join the Syracuse staff in two days (we told you last night that Elmhurst head coach Joe Adam would be the new offensive line coach).
Virginia Union (D-II): Mark James has completed his inaugural coaching staff as follows; Mike Fanoga (DC), Toriano Morgan (passing game coordinator), Aaron Taylor (RBs), Wes Murphy (OL / recruiting coordinator), Josef Harrison (DL), Andre LeBlanc (DBs), Trumaine Watson (S&C), Stephen Valasquez (kickers), Bernard Rucker (special assistant).

Delaware: Bryan Bossard has joined the staff at his alma mater and will coach the receivers. Bossard spent the past four seasons as the offensive coordinator / WR coach at Bucknell. Also announced today was that Brian Ginn, who coached the receivers last year, has been promoted to quarterbacks coach.
South Alabama: Joey Jones has now officially announced the addition of Tim Bowens as receivers coach. Bowens spent the past two seasons at Samford working with the receivers.
Carleton College (D-III - MN): Sources tell us that Concordia (D-II - St. Paul, MN) offensive line coach Michael McHugh has accepted the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks job at Carleton College.
Belhaven (NAIA - MS): Bobby Blizzard, who spent the past two seasons at McMurry (D-III - TX) as the receivers coach, will join Hal Mumme's staff at Belhaven as the offensive coordinator sources tell FootballScoop. Per source, McMurry linebackers coach Josh Creech will also join the Belhaven staff as defensive coordinator / assistant head coach.
Wagner (FCS - NY): Sources tell us that San Jose State offensive assistant Tui Peleti and former Michigan State offensive lineman Stefon Wheeler have been added to the staff as graduate assistants.
Kentucky: Northwestern State (FCS - LA) grad assistant Dennis Johnson has accepted a defensive grad assistant job at Kentucky, per sources.
Concordia (D-II - St. Paul, MN): Concordia University, St. Paul is seeking candidates offensive coordinator coaching the offensive line. QUALIFICATIONS / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, Masters degree, coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level; Preferably experience in Coordinating. Financing for A 12 month full time position will be discussed upon interviews along with all possible benefits. St. Louis Rams: Just to close the loop, the franchise has now officially announced the addition of Gregg Williams as defensive coordinator.

Tulane: Co-defensive coordinator Jon Sumrall is moving from defensive line to linebackers and defensive grad assistant Kwahn Drake is being promoted to defensive line coach per Ed Daniels and we have confirmed as well.
Denver Broncos: John Elway has received a three-year contract extension through 2017 and added general manager to his executive vice president title.
Oklahoma Panhandle State (D-II): Oklahoma Panhandle State University is seeking a full time receivers coach. The position begins March 1st and will come with a $1,000 per month salary along with an on-campus housing stipend. Playing and/or coaching the receiver position at the collegiate level is preferred. St. Vincent (D-III - PA): Sources tell us that Ron Dolciato has added former North Park University (D-III - IL) offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Andrew Hoffman in the same role at St. Vincent. We also hear that John Carroll (D-III - OH) offensive line / tight ends grad assistant Phil Bokovitz will join the staff as linebackers coach / special teams coordinator.
WPI (D-III - MA): Greg Skjold, who spent last season as the tight ends / assistant offensive line coach, has been promoted to offensive line coach.
New Mexico Highlands (D-II): Sources tell us New Mexico Highlands offensive coordinator Stephen Parker has accepted the offensive coordinator job with the Munich Cowboys in German Football League. UPDATE>>New Mexico Highlands is not accepting any resumes at this time.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Dan Shamash has been hired as a defensive quality control coach. Shamash spent the past two seasons with the Tampa Bay Bucs, one as a coaching assistant, and one as a quality control assistant to the head coach.
St. Vincent (D-III - PA): Saint Vincent College is seeking a full-time defensive coordinator. Secondary experience preferred. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, collegiate playing experience or coaching experience, excellent communication and leadership skills. Louisiana Tech: Former Arkansas State safeties coach Blake Baker has been hired to coach the safeties at LA Tech. Baker has gone with Bryan Harsin to Boise State to serve as director of player personnel but is rerouting to Louisiana instead.
Rutgers: Former Scarlet Knights quarterback Mike Teel has joined the staff as an offensive grad assistant working with the quarterbacks.
Vanderbilt: The school has now officially announced the hirings of Marc Lubick (wide receivers) and Brett Maxie (defensive backs).
Toledo: Derek Sage has now officially been announced as wide receivers coach.
WPI (D-III - MA): WPI has an immediate opening for an internship position coaching linebackers. The position will include coaching a position, recruiting duties, video responsibilities, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. The position begins immediately and the compensation for the spring (March-May) will be $3,000 plus housing off-campus. Playing and coaching at the linebacker position is recommended. Utah: As we told you yesterday, Taylor Stubblefield is joining the staff as the receivers coach, and Aaron Roderick (who has coached the receivers at Utah since 2005) will move to quarterbacks, per source. UPDATE >>Utah has confirmed both moves, and announced that Kyle Whittingham plans to coordinate the special teams next season.
Coffeyville CC (KS): Sources tell us thatJames Grinde has joined the staff and will work as a defensive assistant while also assisting with the punters, snappers, and kickers.
Chicago Bears: The organization has hired renowned Taekwondo instructor Joe Kim as a "skill development coach", according to ESPNChicago. Most recently, Kim has worked as a pass rush consultant with the Kansas City Chiefs (2010-2012).
Shorter University (D-II - GA): Julius Dixon and Blake DeBartola have been announced as new members of the full time staff. Dixon, who will serve as defensive coordinator, is a former longtime assistant with Furman where he coached the defensive line and defensive backs, and DeBartola will coach the offensive line after serving as the offensive grad assistant last season.
