Davidson (FCS): Vanderbilt offensive grad assistant Derham Cato is joining the Davidson staff as offensive line / tight ends coach. 

Weber State (FCS): Utah assistant director of player personnel Lance Hunsaker will join the Weber State staff as defensive backs / special teams coordinator. 

Western Kentucky: Sources tell us Jeff Brohm is targeting Arizona State tight ends / recruiting coordinator Chip Long as his offensive coordinator. 

Northern Colorado (FCS): Sources tell us LA Valley College head coach Larry Kerr will be the new defensive coordinator at Northern Colorado. 

Cincinnati: Sources tell us LA Tech linebackers coach Jeff Koonz will join the Cincinnati staff coaching the linebackers we hear but could coach safeties depending on the DC hire (we hear Hank Hughes is lead candidate for that). Update> Sources tell us Hughes will be the defensive coordinator / linebackers and Koonz will coach the safeties. 

Georgia: Secondary coach Scott Lakatos has resigned (personal reasons). 

Houston Texans: Bill O'Brien interviewed Mike Munchak today (per John McClain) for the offensive line position. 

Northern Illinois: Wisconsin Whitewater tight ends coach Craig Harmon will be the new tight ends coach at NIU per sources. 

Nevada: Georgetown tight ends coach Cheston Blackshear is joining the Nevada staff in the same capacity.

Louisville: Sources tell us that Akron corners coach Terrell Buckley will join Bobby Petrino's staff at Louisville. 

Houston Texans: Ohio State defensive line coach Mike Vrabel is joining the Texans staff as linebackers coach we have learned. 

Wake Forest: Ball State offensive line coach Nick Tabacca is joining Wake in the same capacity. 

Tampa Bay Bucs: The organization made a number of hires official today including; Mikal Smith (safeties), Larry Marmie (senior defensive assistant), Matt Wiegand (assistant offensive line coach), Hardy Nickerson (linebackers), Tim Spencer (running backs), Andrew Hayes-Stoker (receivers), Joe Cullen (defensive line), Kevin O'Dea (special teams), Marcus Arroyo (quarterbacks), Ben Steele (offensive quality control assistant), Dave Kennedy (head strength coach).

Louisiana-Lafayette: ULL is working on a contract extension forMark Hudspeth, Jeremy Fowler reports.

Virginia Union (D-II): Sources tell us that Orlando Mitjans, Jr. is a finalist for the head coaching job. Mitjans spent last season coaching the corners at Georgia Southern.

Boise State: Bryan Harsin has now officially announced the additions of Junior Adams (WRs), Blake Baker (player personnel), and Lee Marks (assistant strength coach). 

Cincinnati Bengals: The team has officially named Hue Jackson offensive coordinator. Jackson replaces Jay Gruden who took the head coaching job with the Redskins.

Louisville: Kevin Steele with be the defensive coordinator at Louisville per Brett McMurphy. Steele worked off the field at Alabama this past season. 

Massachusetts: Louisville running backs coach Kenny Carter will interview for the UMass head coaching job according to Jeremy Fowler of CBSSports.com. 

St. Vincent (D-III - PA): Sources tell us that the search came down to two candidates, defensive coordinator John Thompson and John Carroll (D-III - OH) senior offensive coordinator / associate head coach coach Ron Dolciato. An official announcement on their decision will come tomorrow afternoon.

UT Martin: Head coach Jason Simpson has signed a new 6 year rollover contract. Well deserved. 

Ave Maria (NAIA - FL): Ave Maria University, located in Naples, FL is looking for restricted earnings coaches for all positions on both sides of the ball. Please send resume to Michael.Armstrong@avemaria.edu if interested.

Concordia University Chicago (D-III - IL): Concordia University Chicago is seeking a defensive graduate assistant. Job duties included, but not limited to, coaching a position, recruiting, video breakdown, and any other duties assigned by the Head Coach. The position provides graduate school classes, housing (dorm) and a stipend. Candidates must be admitted to a graduate program (3.0 undergrad GPA required) at Concordia University Chicago prior to official hiring date. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be cleared by university to drive university vehicles and must clear all university background checks. West Virginia State: Co-defensive coordinator Nick Bendetto has been promoted to defensive coordinator.

New Mexico: Sources tell us Prairie View A&M defensive coordinator Charles McMillian has been offered and is expected to accept the defensive backs position at New Mexico. Update> McMillian is confirmed to UNM. 

Texas: Multiple sources are reporting that player personnel director Patrick Suddes will not be a part of Charlie Strong's staff.

Georgia Southern: Sources tell us Sam Houston State head coach Willie Fritz will be the new head coach at Georgia Southern. 

Highland CC (KS): Offensive line coach Aaron Arnold has been promoted to head coach.

Coffeyville CC (KS): Sources tell us that offensive line coach Jamie Sumner has resigned.

Central Florida: George O'Leary said on local radio Thursday morning he'd like to beef up his assistant salary pool. 

Western Kentucky: Sources tell us Jeff Brohm will be the new head coach. 

Vanderbilt: Sources tell us David Williams will move swiftly in hiring a new head coach. Have been told he considers Bob Shoop, Herb Hand and Stanford defensive coordinator Derek Mason strong candidates. Will update...

Louisville: UAB head coach Garrick McGee will join Bobby Petrino in Louisville as offensive coordinator according to Joe Schad. We have confirmed the same. Here's what you need to know.

"I didn't want the Bobby Petrino of eight years ago. I wanted a new Bobby Petrino."

Penn State: James Franklin has reportedly agreed to become the next head coach at Penn State per both Bruce Feldman and Brett McMurphy and we have been told the same. 

Sterlin Gilbert has been named the FCS Coordinator of the Year

Louisville: Bobby Petrino's deal is 7 years. He says there is a $10 million buyout. Tom Jurich said Petrino will make $3.5 million per season. 

Stephen F. Austin: Sources tell us that Angelo State (D-II) defensive coordinator Mike Walton has accepted the special teams / secondary coach job at Stephen F. Austin. At SFA, we hear Matt Kubik will be the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks, Jeremy Moses will coach running backs, Bill Best offensive line / run game coordinator and Jeremy Hammock will coach the tight ends. 

Citadel: Brent Thompson, who served as Mike Houston's offensive coordinator at Lenoir-Rhyne, will serve in the same capacity under Houston at The Citadel.

UConn: The salaries of Bob Diaco's staff have been announced; Diaco ($1.5 million in year one), associate head coach / quarterbacks coach Don Patterson ($242,000), offensive coordinator / tight ends coach Mike Cummings ($292,000), defensive coordinator Anthony Poindexter ($292,000), receivers / specials teams coordinator Wayne Lineburg ($1192,000), co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Vincent Brown ($242,000), recruiting coordinator / defensive line coach Kevin Wolthausen ($192,000), offensive line coach Mike Foley ($192,000), running backs coach Ernest T. Jones ($192,000), co-special teams coordinator / corners coach Josh Reardon ($107,000).

Louisville: Sources tell us Iowa State offensive line coach Chris Klenakis has accepted a position on Bobby Petrino's staff at Louisville. 

Alabama: Lane Kiffin will "interview" for the Tide's offensive coordinator position, possibly as early as today, according to Jeremy Fowler of CBS. If so, expect Lane to be the Alabama offensive coordinator. 

Cincinnati Bengals: With offensive coordinator Jay Gruden heading to Washington to become head coach, multiple outlets are reporting that Hue Jackson (who served as running backs coach / special assistant to the head coach) will take over the OC duties.

Washington Redskins: Jay Gruden has agreed to become the next head coach of the Redskins, per Adam Schefter. He also notes that tight ends coach Sean McVay is expected to be take over the offensive coordinator role.

Akron: Sources tell us that John Peterson, who coached the offensive line at UAB, will join the Akron staff in the same capacity and add the title of assistant head coach.

Washington: Ben Thienes has joined Chris Petersen's staff as a grad assistant. Thienes served as the defensive team manager last season at Boise State.

Grambling: Broderick Fobbs has rounded out his inaugural coaching staff, most of which we've already told you about. His staff will be as follows; Everett Todd (defensive coordinator / defensive line), Nate Brown (defensive backs), Eric Dooley (offensive coordinator / quarterbacks), Reggie Nelson (offensive line), Robert "Mickey" Joseph (receivers), Wayne Cordova (running backs), Kendrick Nord (tight ends). and Lee Fobbs (DFO / recruiting coordinator).

Louisville: Joe Schad reports that Bobby Petrino's contract at Louisville is expected to be a 7-year deal.
