Webber International (NAIA - FL): Webber International University is seeking qualified applicants for ONE 2015 Spring/Summer Intern-Assistant position. Benefits include free on-campus housing, full meal plan, and work attire/athletic apparel. This is an unpaid position but includes supplemental on campus employment. The position runs from January 2015-July 2015. The intern-assistant would be in control of programming and leading workouts for a select number of our teams; assisting with football strength & conditioning; assisting with rehab assignments; assisting with day-to-day operational work in running the Fitness Center. Please be prepared for the rigors of a structured mentorship program, dealing with the integration and application of various strength and conditioning principles. This job will prepare the intern-assistant for a graduate-level or an assistant-level position, and is only for those who desire a career in Strength & Conditioning. Candidates for this program must be enrolled in or have graduated from an exercise science or related program, and must have current CPR/AED certification. Pursuit or attainment of CSCS or SCCC is not required, but recommended.
