Worcester State (D-III - MA): Worcester State University is seeking an assistant coach working with the defense. Syracuse: Former Orange center Macky MacPherson will join the staff as a GA, according to the Syracuse Post-Standard. The grandson of legendary SU head coach Dick MacPherson, he spent 2015 as a GA at Louisiana Tech and currently serves in the same role at N.C. State.
Davenport (NAIA - MI):Davenport University (NAIA) located in Grand Rapids, Michigan is looking for a HOME game on Saturday, August 27th. Davenport is a brand new start-up program who will be competing for the first time in 2016. The University is willing to assist with both pre and post game meals. Also, will provide a guarantee. Lamar (FCS - TX): Lamar University is seeking a video coordinator. Responsibilities include directing the football video department operations, including the planning and coordination of filming, producing and editing of practice and game videos, as well as all technology within the football department. Supervise and provide technical training to the staff in use of XOS system. Help coordinate the video game management during home and away contest. Make recommendations for new equipment and process enhancements. Job will include evening and weekend work. This is a graduate assistant position that includes books, fees, tuition, and a semester stipend of $4,200. Also, includes summer school books, fees, tuition, and a stipend of $1,500. Dakota State (NAIA - SD): Dakota State University in Madison, SD is looking for a football graduate assistant. The graduate program is a Master’s in Educational Technology. This program from Dakota State is one of the best MSET Programs in the country. Experience coaching at any position will be considered. Video, Equipment, and recruiting experience a plus. Compensation is a stipend of $12,000 and 2/3 tuition reduction. Cost of living is also very affordable in Madison. This program is a 1 year Master’s program and a commitment longer than 1 year is not required. An undergraduate GPA of 3.25 or higher and a GRE score is required for admission to the grad program.
