Photos & Video: Bills head coach Rex Ryan went skydiving today (Rex Ryan)

The off season can be a wild time for coaches. Les Miles rappelled down a building in 2013,Frank Beamer,Bo Pelini and a number of other staff's spent some time doing the Harlem Shake a few years ago, and then there was the #Chillin4Charity event last year.

Well Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan is the latest head coach to do something a little crazy during the off season.

At 9am EST this morning, Ryan showed up to Niagra Falls Air Reserve Station for a tandem skydive with the U.S. Army Golden Nights Parachute team.

After free-falling a few thousand feet with everything going according to plan, Rex landed safely a little while ago.

While safely on the ground, Ryan was asked about the experience, to which he responded, "That was awesome. I'm ready to go again."

A different kind of touchdown. πŸ‘ pic.twitter.com/Pd4cnDfhpG

"Man you're just, you're flying...that's really what it is, you know?" Ryan explained. "At the end, as you get closer, you start to realize 'Ok, now I've got to land."

I can't think of too many other NFL or FBS coaches that would jump out of a plane like that. Kudos to Ryan.
