Abilene Christian (FCS - TX): Abilene Christian University is seeking a Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant for August 1st, 2017. This is a 2-year position (at will) that includes: a stipend of $500 per month ($6,000/year), a tuition waiver of $4250 per semester (books and fees are not covered in this amount – you are responsible for books and fees), and an on campus apartment (University Apartments). Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: assisting in design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for assigned sports, assisting with the program implementation of all sports, provide instruction for safe and effective lifting techniques and equipment usage, supervise day-to-day activities and conduct periodic performance and strength testing, and communicate regularly with sport coaches and sports medicine personnel. Requirements for this position are: a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in exercise science) from an accredited college or university, certification from the CSCCa or NSCA, a CPR/AED certification, and must be accepted into one of Abilene Christian’s or Hardin Simmons graduate programs.
