San Diego State: Former San Jose State head coach Ron Caragher has been hired as on-campus recruiting coordinator and an offensive quality control assistant.

San Diego State: The school has signed Rocky Long to an extension through the 2022 season. Financial terms were not disclosed; he earned $828,000 in 2017, per USA Today. Long, 68, is 129-98 as a head coach and 64-29 in seven seasons at San Diego State, including a 32-9 mark with two Mountain West championships in the past three seasons.

Susquehanna (D-III - PA): Susquehanna seeks assistant football coach working with the running backs. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing or coaching. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, on the road recruiting in a specific area, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach. A Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. Salary range is $6,000- 8,000. No housing, but some meals are included. Candidates will be expected to be here 10 months. Muhlenberg (D-III - PA): Muhlenberg College, a Division III institution and a member of the Centennial Conference is seeking applications for an Assistant Football Coach opening. Coaching or collegiate playing experience and a four year college degree are preferred. Responsibilities include assisting head coach in all phases of the football program within college, conference and NCAA rules and regulations; includes evaluating, identifying, and recruiting prospective student-athletes; and planning and implementing strategies into daily practices. Part time coaching compensation is modest but does include opportunities for additional income in one or more of the following areas; game management, strength and conditioning, building operations or equipment room operations. Compensation package will include housing, a meal plan and total hourly wages ranging from $5,000 to $12,000 annually depending on additional duties. Benefits not included.
