Boston College: Texas State defensive line coach Antoine Smith has accepted a position at Boston College as director of football initiatives, source tells FootballScoop.
Cincinnati: Source tells FootballScoop, Davidson defensive coordinator Chad Creamer has accepted a quality control position at Cincinnati.
Chadron State (D-II - NE): Chadron State is seeking applicants for an open defensive coaching assistant position. Experience coaching or playing DL or LB is required. Responsibilities will include but not limited to assisting in defensive administrative work, practice prep, game prep, and special teams work. This position will assist with the DL or LB position group as determined by the defensive coordinator. Specific recruiting responsibilities will be determined by the head coach and will include on and off campus recruiting. This position will also be responsible other duties as assigned by the head coach. The position includes a stipend and the option of a graduate tuition waiver. There is no housing or meals associated with this position. SMU: Former Tulsa and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback GJ Kinne has accepted an offensive graduate assistant position at SMU working with the offensive line.
Appalachian State: Scott Satterfield has signed on to remain at App State 2021. Satterfield, 44, is 32-18 in four seasons, including a 28-10 mark since moving to the Sun Belt. No financial terms were disclosed, but the school noted it is a new 5-year deal, not an extension of his previous one. He made $525,000 last season.
Western New England (D-III - MA): Western New England has hired Millikin (D-III - IL) defensive line coach RJ Malson to coach the defensive line and former Guilford College (D-III - NC) defensive back Karl Roberts to coach the secondary.
Methodist (D-III - NC): Methodist University is accepting applications for this fulltime position at this NCAA III institution and proud member of the USA South Athletic Conference. Responsibilities include coaching Wide Receivers and assisting the head coach in all aspects of organizing, developing and implementing best practices for our football program in accordance with NCAA III and Methodist University guidelines, regulations and philosophies. Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred….successful coaching experience required with demonstrated experience in the recruitment of student/athletes at the NCAA III level. Dickinson (D-III - PA): Sources tell FootballScoop that Rose Hulman (D-III - IN) wide receivers coach Corey Headley has joined the Dickinson staff as wide receivers coach.
Buffalo Bills: Marvin Allen and Brian Adams have joined the staff as national scouts, per Mike Rodak. Adams was most recently the director of college scouting for the Chiefs and Adams was a midwest regional scout last season for the Cowboys.
Independence CC (JC - KS): Independence Community College football program is seeking multiple Interns/assistants; best candidates available. Priority positions needed are WR/Slots, QB coach, and LB coach. Responsibilities include position coaching, film breakdown, recruiting and other duties as assigned by the head coach and coordinators. This is a position to gain valuable college coaching experience as well as references for your career. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, written and oral skills, and be very organized. Playing / coaching experience preferred. These are unpaid positions, but the positions do offer free housing and meals.
