After a comeback win over Boise State over the weekend, Mike Leach took the podium for his weekly press conference yesterday and took some time to talk about how disappointing he was in his team's offensive line play.
Just how disappointed was he? Well as only Leach can explain, if there was no-holds-barred fight to the death between their toughest guy, and Boise State's softest defensive lineman, all that would be left of his Wazzu player would be a "grease spot."
Here's what Leach had to say:
"Pick whoever you think is our best offensive lineman. So if there was a fight to death, and you were to clean out this room, and there were no rules whatsoever to be applied - so you go ahead and pick whoever happens to be your favorite of our offensive lineman, whoever you think is the toughest - and now, whoever is the softest on that Boise State defensive line, you bring him in here."
"All that's going to be left of our offensive lineman is a grease spot in the end. Okay? That Boise State defensive lineman will smoke our offensive lineman so bad. It would be embarrassing. If you don't believe me, just turn on that game the other night and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about."
