Nick Charlton was set to enter his third season as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Jim Mora at UConn this fall.
Instead of having that continuity, Mora will have to find a new offensive play caller, according to a report today.
Pete Thamel shares that Charlton is leaving UConn to become an offensive assistant / run game specialist for the Cleveland Browns.
Before joining the UConn staff, Charlton was the head coach at Maine from 2019-21, where he made a name for himself as the youngest head coach at the Division I level.
The offensive coordinator change for the Huskies becomes the 53rd FBS offensive coordinator change of the 2023-24 coaching cycle, according to our Offensive Coordinator Tracker page.
