Former Hawaii head coach Greg McMackin passed on yesterday at the age of 77. McMackin served as the defensive coordinator during Hawaii's undefeated season in 2007 and also called the defense at Utah, Texas Tech and Miami earlier in his career. Please join us in praying for his family.

Ball State: Mike Neu has announced title changes for three assistants. Tight ends coach Jared Elliott has added the co-offensive coordinator title, corners coach Vic Hall is now passing game coordinator / defensive backs coach, and running backs coach Joey Hecklinksi will now serve as recruiting coordinator.
Butler (FCS - IN): Sean Chase has joined the staff as tight ends / running backs coach after previous stops at Culver-Stockton (NAIA - MO) and Northern Illinois.

Carolina Panthers: Frank Reich has decided to retain James Campen (OL), Robert Kugler (assistant OL), and Chris Tabor (STC).
Georgetown (FCS - Washington, DC): Jack McDaniels, who previously coached the tight ends, will now be coaching the quarterbacks.
Ball State: Nate Atkins, who spent the past two months at Dayton (FCS - IN) as their linebackers / specialists coach, has rejoined the Cardinals staff as defensive backs / nickels coach. Before leaving for Dayton, Atkins served as a graduate assistant for the Ball State program.
Eastern Washington (FCS): Brandon Johnson-Farrell, who previously served as special teams coordinator / wide receivers coach at Sioux Falls (D-II), has joined the program as running backs coach.
University of Indianapolis (D-II - IN): Rahju Blackmon, the co-defensive coordinator at Saint Francis (NAIA - IN) last season, has joined UIndy as defensive line coach.
Western Illinois (FCS): Corners coach Aairon Savage has been named head coach at Decatur HS (AL). Savage, a former corner at Auburn, has previous stops in college coaching at Georgia State and Northern Iowa.
West Texas (D-II): Chase Kyser has joined the team as offensvie coordinator. Kyser is the former offensive coordinator at Texas A&M Kingsville (D-II). Also, former Missouri Southern (D-II) defensive coordinator Justin Richter has joined the staff as defensive backs coach.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Assistant head coach John Mitchell has announced his retirement after 29 seasons.
Cincinnati: Cortney Braswell, Army's linebackers coach, is expected to join the staff as inside linebackers coach, Matt Zenitz tweets. Braswell previously worked with Scott Satterfield as a quality control coach at Louisville a few years ago. The hire completes Scott Satterfield's on-field staff.
UMass: After serving as a student assistant with the offense last year, sources tell FootballScoop Jake Lane has accepted a defensive graduate assistant position with the program.
University of Chicago (D-III - IL): Montell Allen has been announced as the new defensive coordinator. He comes from Lehigh (FCS - PA) where he served as defensive line coach. Also, Maine (FCS) assistant offensive line coach / offensive quality control coach Max Andrews has been announced as the new offensive line coach.
The Catholic University (D-III - Washington, DC): The Catholic University of America is seeking applications for a Graduate Assistant for defense. The Graduate Assistant will be responsible for: coaching your own position, film breakdown, practice organization, recruiting your own area, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach. This position includes full tuition assistance and some meals. No housing, No benefits. Qualifications include bachelor's degree and acceptance into a graduate program at The Catholic University of America. Applicants will be required to pass a background check and have a clean driving record. Michigan: Jim Harbaugh's assistant coaches earned nearly $2.5 million in bonuses for their season, ranging from $525k (for offensive coordinator Matt Weiss and former co-offensive coordinator Matt Weiss) to $125k per coach. Each coach earned $75k for winning the Big Ten and an additional $50k for reaching the College Football Playoff.

Carolina Panthers: After a surprise run as the Colts' interim offensive play-caller, Parks Frazier has joined the Panthers in a senior role.
Baker (NAIA - KS): Baker University is looking for two offensive graduate assistants to begin on March 1st. They will receive a full tuition reimbursement and a $4,250 stipend. Carolina Panthers: Former Rams defensive backs coach Jonathan Cooley is joining the staff as defensive backs coach, per multiple reports.
Dan Orlovsky: Carolina and Indianapolis both discussed "prominent offensive coaching roles" with the ESPN analyst, but Dan has opted to remain with ESPN, Adam Schefter tweets.
Montana (FCS): Ronnie Bradford will be the team's new defensive coordinator, while former defensive analyst Kim McCloud will take over the corners and Roger Cooper will move from safeties to linebackers.
Rhode Island (FCS): Per source, former Southern Connecticut (D-II) offensive coordinator Chris Bergeski has joined the staff as wide receivers coach.
UAB: Trevor Browder has been hired as an offensive analyst on Trent Dilfers UAB staff. He will assistant with the Blazers running backs. He comes to UAB after spending a season at Indiana University working as a defensive quality control coach.
Bluffton (D-III - OH): Bluffton is seeking candidates for the defensive coordinator position. Preference will be given to candidates with experience coaching defensive backs. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume and references to Head Coach Matt Nardo at nardom@bluffton.edu.
