Lantz was a longtime defensive coordinator and defensive assistant with stops at Navy, Virginia, Notre Dame, Miami and Louisville and went on to serve as a head coach in NFL Europe.
Morehead State (FCS - KY): Source tells FootballScoop former UAB defensive quality control Tanner Luker has accepted the outside linebackers / defensive ends position at Morehead State.
Missouri: Missouri is expected to hire Brandon Jones as offensive line coach, sources tell FootballScoop.
Graceland (NAIA - IA): Graceland University has immediate openings for two (2) restricted earning coaches, Quarterbacks and Wide Receivers. These positions are restricted earnings and do not include housing or meals. Responsibilities include coaching your own position group and assisting the Head Coach in all phases of the football program. Other responsibilities include but not limited to academic support, practice preparation, data entry and recruiting. Looking for those with great character and excited to grow the Graceland Football brand. Preference will be given to those with experience with HUDL and previous recruiting knowledge. Buffalo Bills: Following the late retirement of defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, head coach Sean McDermott shares with Buffalo News that it is looking like he will be the team's defensive coordinator this fall, adding, "at the same time, I have tons of confidence in the guys that we have around me that if I need to toss it to them from time to time, I can do that.”
Upper Iowa (D-II): Upper Iowa invites applications for a Graduate Assistant on the offensive side of the ball. Duties include coaching a position, maintaining a recruiting area, and helping with the operations of the football program This is a 10-month position. Candidates must be admitted into graduate school and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Compensation includes 6 credits per semester and a $1,000 monthly stipend. Countable Coaches Rule: Back in January it looked likely that the NCAA would pass a rule allowing analysts and support staff to coach during practice, but that has reportedly changed and the proposal now looks unlikely to pass.
San Joaquin Delta (JC - CA): San Joaquin Delta College has added a number of coaches to the staff. Reedly College defensive coordinator Raven Keene is the new defensive coordinator and will coach the linebackers, Phillip Kimble is the new offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach, former Merced JC (CA) offensive line coach Jeremy Hurtado is the new offensive line coach, former Summerville HS (CA) defensive coordinator Matt Soto has joined the staff as defensive line coach, defensive assistant Eric Orth has been elevated to defensive passing game coordinator and recruiting coordinator, Eric Hankins is the new receivers coach, and Delta College graduate Josiah Cortez will coach the tight ends. Also, Giovanni Principi joins the staff and will assist with the running backs and Andre Horace is moving from receivers to running backs.

Some of the benefits include tuition remission for graduate school and a stipend. A Bachelor’s Degree and admission to our graduate program is required. Grand Valley State (D-II - MI): Jacob Studdard has joined the program as running backs coach and special teams coordinator. Studdard, a former player who previously spent a few years on the Lakers staff as a graduate assistant, most recently coordinated the special teams and coached safeties at Hope (D-III - MI) last season.

Michigan State: Per multiple reports, general manager Saeed Khalif will not have his contract renewed when it expires in a few weeks. He originally joined Mel Tucker's Spartans as director of player personnel in 2021 before his title shifted to general manager / executive director of player personnel and recruiting prior this past season. Also, recruiting operations coordinator Jensen Gebhardt will not receive a renewed contract, and assistant director of player personnel Sean Levy recruiting duties, per reports.
Independence CC (JC - KS): Trevor Romans, who spent last season as a defensive graduate assistant at East Central (D-II - OK) is the new offensive line coach.
Post (D-II - CT): Anna Maria (D-III - MA) receivers coach Pat Miller has accepted the offensive line job on the Post University staff.
Capital (D-III - OH); Capital University, an equal opportunity employer, located in Columbus, OH has a full time Defensive Backs position opening. Start date is ASAP. John Carroll (D-III - OH): Kevin Bracken, who served as linebackers coach / run game coordinator at Bucknell (FCS - PA) last season, has been announced as the new defensive coordinator.

Ellsworth CC (JC - IA): Ellsworth is looking to hire a wide receiver coach at Ellsworth CC. Position starts as soon as possible. The job entails, Recruiting your own in-state and out-of-state areas, running your own meetings, and holding players accountable to the standard set. We are looking for highly motivated coach that is looking to get their start in college coaching. The job Includes a $13k Stipend, Housing, and Meals. Bucknell (FCS - PA): Per source, Greg Parker has been promoted from defensive assistant to defensive line coach and defensive line coach Colin Schaeffer is moving to linebackers and will continue to coordinate the special teams. Also, Bucknell has hired former Stony Brook (FCS - NY) safeties coach, McNeil Parker as safeties coach / pass game coordinator.
St. Scholastica (D-III - MN): St. Scholastica is looking for a defensive assistant. Start date could be as soon as possible. Responsible for assisting in the management of operations for the intercollegiate football program at the College and assisting in all responsibilities assigned by the head coach. Will coach a position group preferably LB or DL, run meetings and manage academic tracking. Depending on experience, strength and special teams coordinator possibilities.
