Fred Akers has passed away at the age of 82. Akers went 108-75-3 as the head coach at Wyoming, Texas and Purdue, leading the Longhorns four AP Top 10 finishes. Please keep his family in your thoughts.

Ole Miss-Texas A&M: This game has been canceled due to virus issues on the Ole Miss side. Originally scheduled for Nov. 21, it will not be rescheduled a second time.
Frank Beamer: Shane Beamer noted during his presser today that "Every coach wants to make use of every resource they possibly can and he's right at the top," sharing that he plans to have his dad, Hall of Famer Frank Beamer, involved in the Gamecocks program in some capacity.
South Carolina: For a solid decade, Shane Beamer and his entire family planned and pined for this day to come.
Louisiana College (D-III): Louisiana College is seeking an offensive intern coach. Job responsibilities include assisting an offensive position group, film breakdown, all practice setup/breakdown and director of football operation duties. Duties also include assisting the recruiting coordinator, assisting academic coordinator and all other responsibilities assigned by the Offensive Coordinator as well as Head Football Coach or Athletic Director. Position does not come with a stipend, but does include a dorm room and meals. Candidate must adhere to the Louisiana College personal conduct policy. A Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of a background check is required. Shane Beamer: New South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer will stay with the Sooners through the regular season.
Pac-12: The Pac-12 will not rearrange its schedule to make up the USC-Colorado game, the conference confirmed to ESPN's Kyle Bonagura. USC would win the Pac-12 South on a tiebreaker in the event both teams finish undefeated in conference play; USC plays UCLA Saturday while Colorado faces Utah.

LA Bowl: The inaugural LA Bowl has been postponed until 2021. The game was set to feature teams from the Mountain West and PAC-12 hosted at SoFi Stadium later this month.
New York Jets: The Jets plan to name assistant head coach / linebackers coach Frank Bush the interim defensive coordinator, Adam Schefter tweets.
Carroll (D-III - WI): Carroll University is looking to hire a defensive restricted earnings coach. Candidates will be responsible for a recruiting territory, coaching their own position group, film breakdown, game planning with the DC and other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Monterey Peninsula (JC - CA): Monterey Peninsula College is accepting applications for a part- time DB or LB Coach. Position includes coaching, recruiting, and administrative duties assigned by the DC and HFC. Compensation for the position is a stipend of $10,000. Kentucky: Kentucky parted ways with their offensive coordinators over the weekend.
Texas: The Longhorns have paused all team activities after three student-athletes and two staff members have tested positive for COVID-19. Texas players and staff have been sent home for the day and they will be tested again tomorrow, and then again on Tuesday and they will decide how to move forward after evaluating those results.
