Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins have formally announced the addition of seven new coaches and three returning coaches in new roles. The new coaches include: Butch Barry (OL), Max McCaffrey (offensive assistant), Vic Fangio (DC), Kenny Baker (assistant DL), Steve Donatell (defensive assistant), Renaldo Hill (passing game coordinator / secondary coach) and Joe Kasper (safeties). Coaches in new roles include Ryan Slowik (OLBs), Ricardo Allen (offensive assistant) and Mike Judge (offensive assistant).
USC: Greg Brown, who has a decade of experience as an NFL assistant and has coordinated the defense at Colorado, is joining the staff as an analyst, Matt Zenitz tweets.

Teaching Georgetown's "Pin and Chin" and Puncture Technique on OTB Routes: Post-pandemic, the Georgetown offense found itself in the piteous predicament of not being able to have an effective run game. And with recruiting limitations as a high academic institution, Hoya offensive coordinator Rob Spence made the decision to rely heavily on OTB (over the ball routes) to drive his offense. A derivative of the West Coast system, these routes essentially became the Hoya run game, often turning into 8-9 yard throws when delivered to the right athlete in space. Allegheny (D-III - PA): Allegheny College invites applications for the position of Defensive Coordinator. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Head Football Coach. The ideal candidate is seeking advanced experience in the college coaching profession. A Bachelor’s degree is required; however a master’s degree is preferred. The Defensive Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the administration of all aspects of the football program. These include but are not limited to: the coaching and teaching of students, recruiting, game, practice preparation, and execution on the defensive side of the football, fund-raising, budget management, compliance with NCAA and conference rules/regulations, participation as a member of the College community and with all collaborative departmental functions as needed. The ideal candidate will have prior experience coaching on the defensive side of the football, particularly as a coordinator, and experience at the Division III level. Additional experience recruiting within a diverse and national recruiting pool is also preferred.
