Vanderbilt: Clark Lea has announced that the program is parting ways with head strength coach Brandon Hourigan.

Texas A&M: Duke director of football sports performance David Feeley is following Mike Elko to Texas A&M, per multiple reports.

Georgia: The University of Georgia Football Strength and Conditioning Staff is looking for qualified strength and conditioning interns for the 2024 Spring Semester. Responsibilities include: assisting with the supervision of training, assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties and other duties as assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. Candidates will receive Division I Intercollegiate experience, college credit towards graduation if applicable and will be involved in the CSCCa mentorship program necessary to achieve the SCCC certification. Preferred qualifications: Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in exercise physiology or related field; NSCA-CSCS or USAW certifications; CPR certification. Experience in a strength and conditioning program or having previous collegiate athletics experience is preferred. The start date will be in January 2024. This is a non-paid internship, we are looking to fill 5 more internship spots. Louisville: Louisville Football Strength and Conditioning is seeking hard working future strength coaches for WINTER/SPRING 2024 internships. Expected start date is January 8, 2024. Must be in pursuit of a relevant professional certification or degree, certified in CPR/AED/First Aid, able to adapt to a demanding schedule and work in a fast-paced environment. Indiana University of Pennsylvania (D-II): Indiana University of PA is currently looking for ONE Volunteer Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coaches. This position will be provided with free housing & CSCS or CSCCa certification reimbursement. The daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Lead 2 assigned teams & assist with football & baseball, Supervise Interns & Student Workers, Attending to the daily maintenance of the training facilities, Data input and upkeep, Any other tasks assigned by the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Minimum Qualifications: Strong work ethic, punctuality, Enthusiasm and effective communication skills, Desire to become a strength and conditioning coach. Preferred Qualifications: Previous coaching experience in a collegiate, professional, high school or private sector setting, Competitive collegiate athletic involvement. West Virginia State (D-II): WVSU invites all applications for the position of Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at West Virginia State University. This is a restricted earnings position. The individual will report to the Athletic Director. This position would be for the entire Athletic Department. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred. A CSCS certification and a valid driver's license, official academic transcript(s) and the successful result of a background check are mandatory. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/oral communication skills as well as demonstrated success in Strength and Conditioning at the college level.
