Delaware's Zone and Man Pressure Catalog from 3-High Spacing: It’s understood that the benefit of playing with more skill on the field defensively allows for a myriad of coverage looks and pressure patterns. But the challenge lies in how defensive coordinators term pressures from these looks. In four-down fronts, safeties are the insert defenders in pressure concepts whereas in three-down looks those players are linebackers. In this exclusive article, University of Delaware defensive coordinator Manny Rojas explains how he terms three deep, two deep and man pressure concepts within his 3-High safety operation.
