West Alabama (D-II): University of West Alabama Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking to fill two Graduate Assistant positions. The positions will report directly to the Director of Strength and Conditioning. The positions will be responsible for 2-4 Olympic Sports and Assist with Football. The positions will be responsible for all aspects of Strength and Conditioning for their assigned teams including programming, coaching, teaching and instructing movements, supervising, nutrition management, scheduling, continued education, assisting with football training, assisting with the internship program, travel (when necessary) and other duties assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. Successful applicant will take the lead role over teams to be determined in addition to assisting with Football and other teams as assigned. Required Qualifications: bachelor's degree, Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification, and 1 or more years of experience working with college or high school athletic teams. You must also be able to get accepted into a UWA master program. Preferred Qualifications: current certification through the NCSA (CSCS) or the CSCCa (SCCC). Compensation will include a tuition waiver and a stipend of $1000. Start date is negotiable either summer of 2023 or Fall 2023. Missouri Southern State (D-II): Missouri Southern State University is seeking candidates for our Assistant Strength & Conditioning position (Spring 2023). Responsibilities will include Assisting In set up and tear down of equipment, providing instruction to athletes on proper technique and positioning as well as designing, implementing, and monitoring programs for one or more sports. This is position includes hands on experience with high level athletes. Candidates should possess or be pursuing a certification in Strength and conditioning (SCCC, CSCS, USAW Level 1, USAW level 2, ex.). Previous strength and conditioning experience is preferred but not required. Tusculum (D-II - TN): Tusculum University is looking for an Offensive Graduate Assistant, preferably with experience playing or coaching Wide Receivers but willing to evaluate all backgrounds. The position includes Housing, Meals, and Tuition. The Position will be working directly with the WR Coach and the Offensive Staff and will also be assigned a recruiting area to be responsible for.
