Sources: Youngstown State making offensive coordinator change (Troy Rothenbuhler)

Youngstown State, after a disappointing 4-8 campaign and struggles in the Missouri Valley Football Conference, is making a change at offensive coordinator, sources tell FootballScoop.

Troy Rothenbuhler had been on staff for five seasons at Youngstown State and had spent multiple seasons coordinator the Penguins offense and coaching quarterbacks.

Rothenbuhler's best work at Youngstown State came in 2023, when he helped the team to an eight-win season, FCS Playoffs berth and more than 243 passing yards per game -- the school's all-time best mark.

With a year on staff at the Arizona Cardinals, Rothenbuhler also had six years running the offense at NCAA Division II program Findlay.
