Sources: IMG Academy's Prentice Gill joining Baltimore Ravens staff (img academy)

Prentice Gill has worked for some of college football's top programs in the now-dying PAC-12, and he's also logged time more recently as the wide receivers coach for Billy Miller's powerhouse IMG Academy National team.

Now, Gill is getting an NFL opportunity.

Sources tell FootballScoop that Gill is departing IMG to work in the NFL. Specifically, sources shared, Gill is joining the staff of the Baltimore Ravens.

It's a heady move for Gill, a former junior college player and coach who capped his playing days at Old Dominion and then initiated his coaching career at Harbor College in Los Angeles.

Additional stops for Gill have included multiple seasons at USC, where he Gill worked in the Trojans' football office before he added a trio of seasons in helping coach the program's wideouts.

After a year as an offensive analyst at the University of Oregon, Gill got his biggest break when Herm Edwards hired him to become the wide receivers coach at Arizona State.

Gill had multiple seasons on staff at Arizona State, where he also served in an elevated role for the Sun Devils' recruiting efforts.

After that staff was dismissed, Gill found his way to IMG Academy, which claimed its second national championship in four seasons last fall.

Gill is expected to be in a supporting staff role with the Ravens, and his departure from IMG Academy opens a spot on the staff of one of the sport's most recognizable prep powerhouses.
