Multiple reports this morning share that Washington State offensive line coach Clay McGuire is heading back to Lubbock.
McGuire, a Red Raider alum, is expected to become the new offensive line coach for the program, per multiple reports.
Sources have confirmed the news to FootballScoop.
It's a return to the Lone Star State for McGuire who has spent the past few seasons in the Pac-12, first at USC and then in Pullman.
Prior to leaving for sunny Southern California, McGuire was the offensive line coach at Texas State for two seasons.
In 2018, under Kliff Kingsbury, McGuire held the offensive coordinator and running backs coach title, and coached with Mike Leach during a previous stint at Wazzu prior to joining Kingsbury's staff.
