Minnesota Duluth's QBR Package from Heavy Personnel: When Division 2 power Minnesota Duluth snagged the 6-1, 240-pound Wisconsin player of the year at quarterback two years ago, it made sense to build their entire offensive package around his legs. Offensive coordinator Chase Vogler, a former Duluth standout himself, created essentially every run concept in his offense to have a QBR run element to it. In fact, during the last two seasons, Duluth called a designed QB run or packaged a read element or designed QB run on over 20% of all plays, not just run plays. This season it's signal-caller rushed for over 1,000 yards on essentially two concepts: The zone bluff (14 yards a carry) and G lead concept which helped in generating 243 yards per game on the ground last season.
