Like a man that has waited patiently with a well-thought out plan for his staff once he landed his first opportunity, new Georgia State head coach Dell McGee is moving quickly to fill his staff.
Adding to the list of hires over the last few days since formally taking the job, McGee is now reportedly adding an SEC coaching veteran and old teammate to his staff.
Dameyune Craig is expected to join his former Auburn teammate's staff with the Panthers as an assistant on the offensive side of the ball, per 247.
Craig spent the last six seasons on staff at Texas A&M coaching the receivers for Jimbo Fisher.
He's got previous SEC experience at Auburn, where he held the co-offensive coordinator title in addition to coaching the wideouts, and LSU where he worked with the Tigers receivers.
A former Auburn quarterback, Craig coached the Seminoles signal callers for a few seasons and has previous stops at Tuskegee, South Alabama, and as a special teams assistant in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins earlier in his career.
