27 participants selected for NFL's Coach Accelerator program (NFL)

The NFL, in the never-ending quest for more diversity across the head coaching ranks, have put together their latest NFL Coach Accelerator program.

Just a few seasons old, the program aims to increase the exposure and networking between owners, executives, and coaching talent from around the league.

Last year, teams were able to nominate coaches from outside their own organization and 40 coaches were chosen.

This year, the list includes 27 coaches, eight of which are participating in the program for a second time (Brady, Caldwell, Hamilton, Johnson, Lewis, London, Montgomery, Washington).

The coaches will take part in developmental sessions aimed at engaging them and advancing their leadership skills and business acumen, on top of those networking opportunities.
