Previous DL Coaching/Playing experience preferred but not required. This position is a stipend position with no benefits. Central Oklahoma (D-II): Gannon (D-II - PA) special teams coordinator Thomas Pearson is the new co-defensive coordinator / safeties coach and Kamau Dumas has joined the staff as secondary / corners coach after coaching the defensive backs at Wagner (FCS - NY)
Shorter University (D-II - GA): Shorter University is seeking applicants for an Offensive graduate assistant coaching position (OL/WR). Responsibilities include coaching a position, managing a recruiting territory, coordinating on-campus visits, Hudl video, scouting reports/breakdowns and other duties assigned by the head coach and defensive coordinator. Experience playing or coaching at the college level is preferred. Position includes 100% tuition waiver for the Master’s program of your choosing (which is an exclusively online program), and a full meal plan. There is no stipend for this position. There will be the opportunity for additional income available. On campus housing is not available. Admission to the Shorter University Graduate School (minimum GPA of 2.5) is required. Position must start no later than mid-February. Shorter University is a private Baptist university in Rome, Georgia. It was founded in 1873. In the fall of 2020, it traditional enrollment reached 1,250 students. The 155-acre main academic and residential campus is located 70 miles northwest of Atlanta, Georgia in Rome. As a Christian institution the coaches at Shorter University lead by example on and off the field. San Diego State: Inoke Breckterfield has been formally announced as defensive line coach. He spent the last two seasons at Washington in the same role, and was in the SEC at Vanderbilt prior to that.
Dallas Cowboys: Adam Schefter shared on the Pat McAfee show this morning that Mike Zimmer's deal to become the new defensive coordinator in Dallas is not done, and Jerry Jones has reached back out to Rex Ryan. After Schefter confidently shared last night during the Super Bowl coverage that Zimmer was set to be the new Cowboys DC, Ryan shared didn't believe a deal between the two parties had been struck yet, and Schefter shares that's because the Cowboys reached back out to Ryan about 15 minutes before that segment aired.

Responsibilities include all aspects of the football program, including practice organization, academic support and recruiting. Missouri S&T (D-II): Kevin Kim has joined the staff as an assistant coach working with the linebackers. He previously coached linebackers at Central Missouri (D-II) and William Jewell (D-II - MO).
Jacksonville State: Craig Suits, the former linebackers coach at Tulsa, has accepted a defensive analyst job on staff.
Lenoir-Rhyne (D-II - NC): Nick Vagnone has taken over as linebackers coach / recruiting coordinator. He helped lead Keiser (NAIA - FL) to a national title last season.
New Orleans Saints: Word broke over the weekend that 49ers passing game coordinator Klint Kubiak would be heading to New Orleans as the new Saints offensive coordinator, and Ian Rapoport shares this morning that the two sides have reached a deal.
