Georgia: The University of Georgia Football Sports Science Department is seeking candidates to fill 2024 Spring Semester internship positions. Daily Responsibilities include: assisting with collection of sports science data, assisting with data management, data analysis, and data visualization, exploring sports science research and new technology. Preferred qualifications: Currently pursuing, or completed, a degree in a sports science related field and has a strong desire to become a Sports Scientist/Data Scientist, experience using Excel and Power BI, previous experience in a collegiate athletic program. Internship dates: 1/25/2024 – 4/24/2024. Deadline to apply is 11/24/2023. This is an unpaid internship. The internship may fulfill course credit if necessary. Stanford: Stanford Football Sports Performance is looking for 4-5 Volunteer Interns for the Winter/ Spring with dates running from January 7th to May 24th. This internship is designed for individuals who want to have a career in the field of Football Sports Performance. This is an UNPAID position. Interns will be provided with opportunities to grow and have hands-on coaching experience in a FBS football program. Responsibilities include assisting in all aspects of training, set-up and breakdown of daily training sessions, data collection, as well as participation in a rigorous internship curriculum.
