Sanford Health: Sanford Health has an opening for a full time Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist located in Bismarck, ND. This position would have the opportunity to continue to develop as a coach and play an instrumental role in operations with the Sanford Power department. Vanderbilt: Wake Forest strength and conditioning coach Brandon Hourigan, who has been with the program the last seven seasons, is joining Clark Lea's staff, Pete Thamel tweets. The two worked together previously at both Wake Forest and Bowling Green.

Central Arkansas: The University of Central Arkansas Strength and Conditioning staff is looking for an Assistant Strength & Conditioning coach to work primarily with the female sports. Those interested please submit an application via this link.

Tennessee Tech:Tennessee Tech University’s Athletic Performance Department is seeking qualified applicants for one Strength and Conditioning graduate assistant effective January 19th 2021. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, design and implementation of sport-specific strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams, demonstration and instruction of lifting techniques, supervision of team and individual workouts, and assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the Athletic Performance Center. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field; CPR, AED, and First-Aid certifications; and nationally-recognized certification (NSCA-CSCS or CSCCa-SCCC preferred). Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience as a strength and conditioning coach/high-level intern and experience working with football, softball, and track and field student-athletes. Position includes educational benefits in a master’s degree program along with a monthly stipend during the academic year. Grand View (NAIA - IA): Grand View University Strength and Conditioning Department is accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. This is a 12 month position starting Spring 2021 (as soon as possible) with a two year commitment. Tuition waiver and a monthly stipend are included. The Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will assist the Strength and Conditioning Staff with all aspects of training for all sports. The qualified candidate will be assigned sports based on background and experience. Other responsibilities include, daily maintenance and upkeep of facility, assist in mentoring and evaluating interns, providing nutritional counseling/assessment for student-athletes, lead speed/agility sessions, etc. Candidates must hold a BA/BS in Kinesiology or Exercise Science related field. Possess or be working toward CSCS through the NSCA or the SCCC through the CSCCa. CPR, First Aid and AED certification required. Candidates must also possess strong communication skills and have the ability to effectively work with student athletes, coaches, and support staff. Valdosta State: The Valdosta State University (Valdosta, GA) Strength and Conditioning staff is currently seeking three (3) intern strength and conditioning coaches to contribute to the program. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to assist the full-time staff with training Valdosta State’s 14 varsity athletic programs in compliance with NCAA rules. This is an unpaid opportunity that will offer valuable knowledge and exposure assisting the coaching staff in all aspects of the strength and conditioning program. Interns will receive hands-on experience, have the opportunity to earn academic credit, and earn potential to recommendations for future career opportunities. Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, character, effective organization and communication skills, and the desire to work in the field of strength and conditioning field as a future professional. Previous coaching experience in a strength & conditioning setting along with C.S.C.S., SCCC or USAW Level 1 certifications are preferred, but not required. The internship program will run from Monday February 1st, until Friday, April 30th, with the potential of lasting longer. Texas: Per multiple reports, the Longhorns are expected to hire Cal strength coach Torre Becton to the same role. Becton has spent the past four seasons at Cal, and prior to that was the strength coach for Steve Sarkisian at Washington.

Jenison HS (MI): Jenison HS is looking to add a full-time strength and conditioning coordinator for their athletic program. Candidates should have Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in strength/performance related field or NSCA Certification required. 260 days per year salaried position (salary based upon experience/degree). Non-Cat Group II Position. 25 Vacation Days per year. Health, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability and Life Insurance. Responsibilites include; Provide scheduling, develop programming, monitor team and player attendance, and convey/oversee overall vision/direction of the program in cooperation with all coaches. Innovation is important: The program will look a little different tomorrow than it looks today. Resource aware: Maximize current spaces and equipment while also planning for additional resources anticipated in the near future, prioritize needs, advocate for communicated necessities, and be resourceful in finding ways to add equipment that will enhance the program. Focus/Future of Program should be to develop workouts based on a holistic approach with the goal of building complete multi-
sport athletes. Looking for someone who can create a periodization structured approach to maximize peak performance to coincide with competitions.
